If you want you can go 285/75/16 but do expect to rub plenty at full lock and full compression. Slight trimming might be recommended. There are plenty of 3rd gen owners that have gone up to this size using the exact same lift.

Rubbing locations vary from wheel size (offset/backspacing) to tire size and tire manufacturer.
Most common places to check:
Inner fender (usually the easiest thing to do is just remove the damn thing - but not everyone likes doing that so some just cut the affected areas - starts lookin like swiss cheese though I'd say).
front and rear mudflaps are usually the first victims
sometimes the upper control arms rub - thus some get aftermarket arms or shave the arms (I'd say buy over shaving this piece)
that's about all I can think up of right now where you can modify. Check for rub marks and then decide on whether or not you really want to do the trim job. If you do start to trim the affected areas, make sure you check what you're cutting since you don't want to cut stuff that you're not suppose to (i.e. wires behind the affected area etc etc).
