I need one used 285/75/16 Toyo Open Country MT. about 40-50% tread = 8-9mm of tread.

I have looked locally for several weeks, called every tire place in town,

if you can help me I will be most appreciative.

yeah, used... I got 3 of them for free and had them mounted up in Sac when I went thru there last month.

I almost had 2 more today but turns out they were AT not MT..

go figure.

its a long shot and I put it up here more for the Colorado 4runner peeps, I dont mind driving to Ft. Collins or Colo springs or something to get one.
