Has anyone seen this site?
Buyatoyota.com

It starts of by saying "We appreciate your consideration."
"So we're offering our biggest thank you ever."

Your loyalty has made us the #1 car brand in America so we would like to thank you with our biggest offers ever. Plus current Toyota owners get a free two year maintenance play with the purchase or lease of another new Toyota. (at the bottom of the page it states that the plan covers factory scheduled service, and then says all the legal crap they are required to say)
This is NOT offered on the 4Runner though...

What I don't understand is why are there no offeres including the 4Runners and why are there no offers for existing Toyota owners. I bought my 4Runner right in the middle of all the recall mess and yet still chose to buy another Toyota, why are they not doing anything to reward the people that already chose Toyota? Am I crazy? Does this not make sense to anyone else? Not that I know of much they could do or would do but some kind of effort seems appropriate does it not?

I guess I can still dream cant I : ) *I would still get another 4R even if every other car fell apart.*

Marketing... and because you already bought a Toyota. They could careless about existing owners, they already took our money. The program is a last ditch effort to keep possible Toyota buyers from flocking to another brand.

"So we're offering our biggest thank you ever." With that said, when you're at the dealer for service or trying to get warranty work done, you can tell them "show it, don't just 'say it'."

That attitude seems to be all over the place. Companies in general don't care about their existing customers - they seem to think that the priority is finding new customers. A great example of this is the phone and cable TV companies - they offer ridiculously low prices to new subscribers for six months or a year. What about giving your existing (and probably loyal) customers a break too? No, if you are an existing customer, we'll telemarket you and harass you to buy additional services you don't need so we can get more money out of you.

There used to be a concept where the best customers of a business got the best prices and the most attention. I guess that's dead too. There's my dream - to return to true customer service and a long-term business relationship rather than focusing on the quick buck today.
