Rhino Line the lower portion?

I have a silver '03 SE that has the 'raw' plastic on the bottom portion of the truck. Come spring I plan on either painting it gloss black or maybe having it Rhino Lined in black. I searched, but couldn't come up with anything regarding this. Does anybody know if the plastic will hold up to the temperature that the Rhino Lining is sprayed on at?

It will hold up... you just need to prep it really good. Be sure to sand down the surface with a fine grit sand paper just enough to scratch the surface- 1000grit perhaps, then whip it down with xylene. It is a product used by bodyshops to rid surfaces of any contaminants that may cause fish eyes or impurities when applying paint to the surface. If you want the herculiner to stay glossy- be sure to apply the UV protectant to keep it from fading to a flat finish- or don't, the flat finish may make it look the way you wanted. Here is a pick of my old Jeep with Herculiner roll on bed liner on the bottom portion of the body with no UV protectant....

Thanks r3d, I should have said I'll be taking it somewhere to have done. I could probably do the Rhino Lining myself, but it's something that I've never done and wouldn't mind spending the extra money to have it done by somebody that really knows what they are doing and have it sprayed on properly.

If I go with the Rhino Lining I'd probably go flat black to give it that 'look', whatever that look may be

I thought about just having them color matched, but I'm afraid the newer paint would stand out against the older paint even though my truck has seen more wax than a Victoria's Secret model.

Be sure to check the Line-X brand too... I have seen some impressive color matching with thier product. I don't have anything bad to say about Rhino I'm just saying I have seen some good Line-X.
