This will be a complete bolt on kit and will include all the hardware as well as directions to install nFab steps on your SR5 or Limited without removing the stock rocker panels. I know you said nFabs, but would this allow me to install my TE boards on my SR5?

^I'm not too sure about that since I've never seen how the TE running boards mount to the truck.

Don't be afraid to give me your opinion of the kit. Price too high? reasonable? Cutting and drilling 1/4" steel is no joke. You can't just use regular garage tools for this. Call around some of your local metal suppliers and get a quote. Some of my local places we're charging $250 just for the 6 spacers cut into 2" pieces with 4 holes in it. The spacers are 4"x4"x 1/4" square tubing. These suckers are heavy.

edit: I am also in contact with nFab to see if we can get a GB going for the wheel to wheel steps.

I personally think you are right on par with your price. I know how much time and equipment you go through doing metal fabrication. Its not just the metal, its grinding wheels, drill bits, sand paper, etc. That stuff all adds up, not to mention that unless you have a great drill press, you will burn through the one you have in a year or two, same with grinders, etc.

I love what you have done and think its not only a great idea but looks like a very well built and designed kit

I like the look a lot myself, but that is a lot of ground clearance to give up for me. I have been toying with the idea of trimming my rockers and running them.

Great job with the fabrication, and I would say your price is on par with the work involved, possibly even a little low if the price of steel moves much.

Mine too, but only because I know absolutely nothing about the cost of material and tools involved in this work. It's quickly apparent that those who know much more than me about metal work think this is a plenty fair price, so I'm on board.

I appreciate you putting these together, as I'm currently weighing the nFabs as a step option and it is great to know that the spacer issue is take care of without me hunting down a local fabrication shop. :hatsoff:

It is a simple bolt on procedure. No need to modify anything on the truck. If you can tighten bolts and own basic hand tools you can do this.
