Has anyone seen a right wheel drive runner in the states...i had a dream about it, that would be sick. Is it even possible to convert? or would you have to buy a runner straight from japan or somethin to have it right. Any feedback would be awesome...happy thanksgiving too! I'm thankful i have an awesome ridhe! :)

I don't think DOT will aprove right hander here. I would be nightmare to register one in most states. That vehichle would be perfect for post-man (mail boxes on the right side).

Dude funny story. I was driving down the highway and I look over and thought I saw the lady of a SUV asleep at the wheel. Her seat was reclined very far back and her head was tilted back with her mouth half open. I did a double take and saw her husband on the right side was actually the one driving.

Well I'm not sure if there vehicle was DOT approved, but they did have Virginia plates. I assume it'd be hard to go through the drive through at Mickey Dees ore the bank.

There was an old FJ-40 running around here some years ago that was right-hand drive. I almost bought it too...probably should have...
Did go through a drive-in movie backwards tho! It was easier than turning once around inside, and I had a couch in the back just for the movie...

i know a guy that imported an r34 skyline to the states. it was a right hand drive of course. what i asked him was how he made left turns. it's hard to see on coming traffic at an intersection if you're trying to turn left and the car in front of you is too. he said you just have to be careful.

biggest issues will be emissions... then safety standards.

not because of a right hander...

why anyone one would want a RHD 4runner in the US is beyond me but whatever chokes your chicken. If you really want to experience what that would be like just drive on the wrong side of the road for a while. Should be similar minus the swerving oncoming vehicles/cursing/lude hand gestures.
