A note about wiring it all up:

I tapped into the cigarette light power in the the center console. Backup light doesn't draw enough for a relay, so it's wired direct. Front light goes to the relay which pulls power from the battery. Switches are from: http://www.otrattw.com

I like those lightbars, but for the money and performance a bi-xenon projctor with 50w ballasts are just as bright with better beam pattern than those Rigids.

Uh oh. Can't wait until Tuesday to see how they handle the warranty.

Warranty update: They emailed me a pre-paid shipping label to get the light to them. That was a nice touch. It took a few weeks, but I finally got my light back from Rigid. It's fixed although I can tell they used a lot of goop putting it back together and there's some silicone goo finger prints, etc. The paperwork said the "rail bolt was not torqued", whatever that means. Sounds like something was loose and let water in. I hope it stays dry from here on out.

This is so true, I had finished my retrofit and decided to test out a 30" bar with my highbeams on. There was no appreciable difference with the light bar on or off.

In short, retrofits should be at top of everyone's list!
