Rims for 35s

So I'm hoping to go to 35s here soon. I know I'll have to get new rims. My question is what backspacing do I need to not rub? I have the LR upper control arms. I really like the SCS Stealth 6, butnot sure if I would need spacers on top of the 4.3" backspacing.

You'll want at least 4.5" of backspacing. Even with my wheels at 4.5" of backspacing I still needed wheel spacers to run a 305. Check out the 5 stars from FNWheels. I'm really diggin them!

FN Wheels ? FN Wheels Five Star

They would be ideal for running a 35.

Those rims do look nice. Should have said this in the OP before. I want to stick to 17s. I can possibly pick up a used set of Toyo MTs for cheap, would just need rims.

I dunno man... I ran 17's for a while and I regretted it every time I went to buy new tires. I went through 3 sets on the old 17's I was running and they were $20-40 more expensive per tire. I'd stick with 16's if I were you. But in the end its your vehicle and you can do what you want.

FN wheels offers some nice 17's too!

True, 17's are a bit more expensive. If I go new then I'll be getting some 285/75 r17 Toyo MTs as they are 34" tall, but narrower than a 35. They will also mount to my Sequoia 17's. The 4Runner is going to be mainly a trail rig, so one set of tires is going to last me a very long time.
