Had my 4Runner for almost 2 years and it's been perfect. Recently, I was giving my wheels a good cleaning and noticed some small bubbling on one of the rims. Anyone else notice something similar? Think it's warranty worthy? I've attached a couple of photos. It rained today so the rims are a little dirty.

It appears that perhaps you accidently got some over the counter tire cleaner onto the rims. Tire cleaners such as bleach-wite will destroy alloy rims! You have to live with just cleaning your tires the old fashion way with soap, water and a hand brush. You can then spray on the tire shine product but make darn sure to wipe off the overspray from your actual rim area.
Here is a trick that I use when cleaning my tires. I use a cut-out piece of cardboard from a box.....or you can just rip off a flap cover from a box and use it as a shield when spraying the tire shine on. This will not work with the tire cleaner products (harsh cleaning agents) since you still have to wash it off and a bit of the residue will undoubtfully drain down onto your aluminium alloy rims! Good luck.

As an FYI to all members, the bubbling problem continued to get worse, so I took the truck into the dealer to see what they could do. The dealer, without hesitation, suggested that all 4 rims be re-finished under warranty. I just got the truck back today, and the rims look fantastic.

The dealership here in Tallahassee is by far the worst of any automaker I have ever dealt with.
