I'm thinking about to replace my 2005 stock 17" rims (which are very ugly) to a set of 3rg gen 16" rims.

replace the ones like this one (17"):

with the ones like this one (16"):

Will it fit on my 2005 4runner? My current tire size is 265/65/17.

Thanks for your help!

I am no guru, but I don't think you can downsize your rims due to brake rotor size. Someone that knows for sure will chime in, but I would look for sequioa or '02 sport rims before those. IMO

Those rims will work fine. You have a V6 SR5. The Sport model and the Limited model have the larger brake rotors that won't allow the 16" rims. Your SR5 brakes will accommodate the 16" Sequoia/Tundra rims just fine. Those rims have a slightly different offset and the wheels will sit 15mm farther out. Many have done the swap and it looks great to boot.
