Hello All,

Looking to find out if 16" rims on 2000 Land Cruiser and 4runner are same width?

I have both of these cars. and both are 16" rims. I am looking to do Tundra brake upgrade, but my 4runner rims are the split 6 rims, so it won't clear the big 13WL calipers.

One of the idea is to see if I can interchange the rims from cruiser to the 4runner? (given if the LC rims will clear the Tundra calipers.)

hey, Thanks but my 2000 is a 100 series LC. I can't check if it is 6 lug or not, since I dropped it off at Toyota today to go over after purchasing it on Sat.

100 series is a 5 lug

Also suggesting that it's a 5-lug wheel as far as I can remember. The FZJ80 wheels won't fit either fwiw.

Thanks everyone. I just looked up past pics of both of my cars.

4runner has 6 lugs.

2000 LC has 5 lug wheels.

So, looks like my idea won't work!

Thanks for the offer, but I have almost new tires on both of them, (if my LC needed new tires, I would've transfer tires from 4runner to the LC and get yours.) But I can't justify just acquiring another set up new tires!

oh, I thought you said rims and tires. I think my problem remains the same, if I only get the RIMS, then I would also need to get new set of 17" tires, as my pretty new 16" won't fit on the 17" RIMs.

Anyway, send me a PM what you are looking for the RIMs and I can chew on it?

No, you would need 17" tires to fit on 17" wheels. The rim is just the outer ring of the wheel.
