RIP Boomer

Thanks guys, it really means a lot.

He was truly an awesome dog, it is almost as if he waited for my brother to come home from college before he passed....

Just 24 hours before he was gone we were playing in the living room as lively as ever. I still have no idea what took him away, but he was at least happy and mobile up until the very end.

The whole situation is so surreal, probably because it was so sudden, I had no time to mentally prepare. I still find myself whistling for him to come down and sit with me for breakfast and watch TV, and I am reminded of the dreaded truth.

But at least we have another dog in the house, that is going to help a bunch

Here we have Lucy, and Boomer enjoying a treat
