Hey guys I currently own a 1996 Toyota 4runner Limited,I wanted to post my build thread on here for some time but never had time,So here it goes.
I have owned about 4 2nd gen 4runners (1-1990,1-1991,2-1995) and 1-3rd gen (1-1997). After getting into an accident and destroying my 1997 limited 4runner and owning 4 2nd gen 4runners. I couldn't just go back to any suv or car. So the search continues to replace my 3rd gen 4runner. I came across a 1996 Limited that the owner was selling with 310k. So i checked it out and purchased it. My experience with these trucks are their indestructible. Back to my purchase the trucks engine sounded solid, but needed some tires and bodywork. It Begins

So i finally finished the body work the engine that was in the truck had 310k on it and passed emissions with flying colors but after 1month of driving the headgasket went!!!!!!. i had just discovered that the previous owner threw stop leak in the engine.:bash: so instead of just doing the head gasket i changed the whole engine:happens:
