Road Trip and Pics

We are in Omaha tonight. traveled through some tornado devastation. (every one was safe and sound). so far the 4Runner is a dream ride. One question. some times the OFF light for the passenger air bag comes on even though my passenger is sitting there. I turn off the car and restart and it thinks a second and swtiches to ON. any ideas? Thanks

Again these pics reflect devastation but no one was hurt.

That's incredible! The way the blown metal wrapped around the telephone pole is amazing!:bugeye:

How's the trip going? Happy in the T4R vs a rental car? IIRC you wrestled with what to drive across country a while back... I hope you're glad you're in the T4R as I was one of many who said "you bought it for trips just like this".

Do you have anything on the roof? How are you doing on mpg?

Have fun and keep the T4R out of the hail!

A great thanks to you and others who supported taking the 4Runner. There is simply no comparison. It drives like a dream come true. Coming east out of Salt Lake City there is about 15 miles of long winding turns at freeway speed. visualize us with the sunroof open and rollin! Smooth as silk, practical and strong.

We are having a blast!

so far rough estimate is 20 to 21 mpg mostly at freeway speeds no less than 75 mph.

(bug depository pic attached) and yes we got the yellow one!

I would have given you a case of good single malt scotch to drop to one of my best buds who lives in salt lake (where there is no hard liquor sales) - he struggles with it, but loves living there...

South Bend Notre Dame tonight.

4Runner purred like a top.........easily tracking the roads some of them pretty bad here in Indians.....moving ahead of the tornadoes now behind us.

2040 miles so far.
