I recently was given access to a CNC cutter and right away my thought was "I need to ditch my wimpy skid plate and make my own." Along with that, I've always wanted to do the satoshi grill but with lights and a winch box it would be pointless. So here is what I devised...
It will be cut out of 3/16" steel and be a straight plug and play like most of the other name brand skids are and a piece of 1/8" will be welded behind the toyota cut out and spray painted red so that it really pops.
I'm ordering my metal through the stock that my tech school uses so will have plenty of plate leftover to make more, I should have the final product in a week or two. If anyone is interested I will have roughly enough metal for 5 more skids and they will be available for 110 plus shipping. Please leave a comment or pm me if you'd be interested. Asof now I only have the cad for a 2nd gen (which may also work for late 1st gens) but I am willing to do any model as long as you can give me some measurements.
