Rock slider mounting options?

I've got a set of rock sliders I took off an old truck. Measured them today and they fit perfectly between the tires on the 4runner. My question is how are yall mounting yours? These just have a price of tubing coming off each end and one in the middle that were welded to the frame rails. Should I go this route again? Or weld some brackets to the ends of them? Pictures of your setup would be great

Weld a plate and add a gusset for more support. Here are the ones I made. I used a 3/16" plate that is about 4" x 4" and has a gusset welded from the tube to the plate. Then I just welded the whole plate to the frame.

Don't have pictures, but definitely this ^^^. It works perfectly- I've got mine setup the same way, and they've taken beatings multiple times, all without fail!

I agree with the flat plate and gusset answer. I used it and wheel with a lot of friends who have used it with solid results. Just make sure to weld the flat plate in a diamond shape so as to allow for a quality weld at the top of the flat plate to the frame.
