Rockerpanel removal on SR5

Is it possible to remove the rockerpanels on SR5 without alot of cutting? It seems the rockers are 1 with the fenders/flares. If they arent and its pretty obvious, please be gentle for I am a newbie to mods.

So as I was reading this….sitting across from Icenomad waiting to go play 9 holes….he tells me that he still has his (what a DB) ha ha, you know I'm kidding Chad. So….my intentions are to wrap these as I believe quentin was on to. I'm going the cheap route on making the TE version!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

TE panels on SR5

So it does leave a couple "unfinished" spots, so could you just order and put the TE panels on and have them painted to match?

This would create a finished shorted side skirt that I could use with some sliders.

Any help would be sweet!

Yes, you could use the TE parts (see harper7 and Okki - they converted their LE to a LE/TE combo) or you could keep the OEM LE/SR5 panels and trim them (see Dlak, Mikeys2010SR5, and me) .

So how do you remove them? I crawled around under there today and was trying to figure it out. I see the obviousw bolts but after taking those off the panel is still attached. Before I start yanking and breaking stuff I thought I would ask for help.

When you open each of the doors there is a single screw and in each fender well there is one or two plastic retainers to remove. Then just pull.
