i had these first bolted on, then i had them welded on to be more solid, i would recommend the latter. to remove them i sawed them off at the mounting point which i have included 4 new scab plates with the sliders so you can have them welded back up easily or welded to the scab plates and then bolted up like originally made. i highly suggest welding though. they are a very great very low profile slider and served my purpose for several years
