RockyMtnHigh's Build Thread

I ended up getting an ARB 2000 awning with the Gzila mounts and my TRED Pros finally arrived. What do you think?

Looks great. It LOOKS like that awning is the 2000 and not the 2500 based on length and how it stops in about the middle of the front window. I only bring it up in case you specifically ordered and paid for the 2500 and mistakenly got the 2000. (That happened to another member on here). Just measure the width and compare to the specs.

Yep good eye. I actually bought the awning from a buddy so I wasnt positive which it was. I think the 2500 would be way too long anyway.

Did some camping down by Great Sand Dunes national park this weekend. Found a great site off of Medano pass trail. The new awning came in handy since it starting raining/hailing as soon as we set up camp.

The 2500 fits fine, it hangs out over the windshield but you can't see it from inside. I was wondering what awning you got when I passed you on 470 last week and saw that stuff attached. :guitar2:

Nice pics on Medano, I ran that trail in June, mosquitos were insane around there!

I dont know of anyone personally that has this kit, but Toytec is all good stuff. You should be very happy with it.

Yeah fun trail. The skeeters weren't bad at all this time of year, thankfully.
