Rola arck + Extension + Armor tech is too low

I installed it last night, but the base of the basket at places is touching the roof i.e no way I can open the sunroof,, a bit confused, I need to raise it abut 1/2", did anyone needed a spacer underneath.

i have read that someone mentioned flipping the mounts upside down to get a bit more height.

Hey man, I have been wanting to pick this exact setup for my 4runner. I disconnected my Sunroof as it got stuck once and I do not want to deal with it again. Anyway, Would you mind posting more pictures of how the rack looks from multiple angles? Thanks so much!

I raised the rack with a 1/8 rubber gasket cut into twelve 1 inch by 3 inch pieces, and slid three b/w each mount and rack so I do not have to flip the mounts, I think it will work with two as well but I want to put weight in it first and see if it touches the roof, if using the brackets as is they will definitely touch the roof...

I've just got my rack and lowering mounts also. Looking to get everything prepped and painted first.

Just wondering, are you able to open your sunroof after installing the rubber gasket as a spacer?

Nope, but I do not intent to keep the rack on all the time, it is for a upcoming cross country trip
