Roll up the rear window with the remote?

Hi all, I just got my 4runner last week and it didn't come with a manual, so sorry if this seems like a stupid question. Is it possible to make the rear window go up with the keyless entry remote? It seems like the only way to make it go up is with the key or the switch inside.

Yeah that's right. I don't believe the window has pinch protection so it will only roll up from the switch or key.

Not as annoying as the sunroof with no auto close AND it stops half way while holding the switch

What else is annoying is that you can't unlock the back hatch with the key, the key will only raise and lower the window. So when we are camping I can't just use the key to open the back, I either have the loud unlock "chirp" or go around to the front door and use the power locks on the armrest.

Not a big deal, but still annoying.

Interesting. So, that is the normal operation? I thought my sunroof might need to be greased or something

mine unlocks with the key. aren't they supposed to?

the rear will lock and unlock just turn and let go do not hold!

You can mod / hack the rear window rather easily to roll up with the key FOB / remote.
