Roof rack cross bars

Hi, I just bought a new 4runner Sr5 about 2 months ago. I was wondering about the bars on the roof. I only have two of them. A lot of other suv's i see have the cross bars. Did you guys ask to have them put it on? Was it free or was it just my dealer? I dont really use it, but I probably will someday.

Also, a few weeks after I got it, I got a letter from my dealer that had the accessories and parts catalog. There were cross bars for the roof in there and it said $0 installed.

Its not free, its around $102.00 Plus tax, if you buy at the dealer and maybe they install with no charge.
