roof rack crossbar loose

I just installed a Yakima snowboard carrier on the stock rack. I noticed that the crossbars were loose on the front and back. Just to clarify, the parts that slide back and forth on the rail are NOT loose, it's the bar that sits inside those things that are. Now when i drive i can hear the bars rattling back and forth. Really annoying.

Anyone else experiance this? Or have a simple fix? Thanks

Had that too...and it took a while to figure it out.

The only way to tighten them up is to find yourself a bent key torx screwdriver, size T25.
They sell these at your local parts store for a few bucks.
Don't crank on it until it doesn't tighten anymore...just until it is snug and you don't have anymore wiggle in the crossbar.
