Roof rack leak? O2 4runner

Last night we had allot of rain. I also washed the 4runner this morning. I noticed some wet spots on the fabric along the entire drivers side where the plastic meets roof inside.

No idea where its coming from. I did open up the sunroof and the inside space was bone dry. So i do not think the sunroof drains are the problem. The only other place would be the roof rack.*

The roof rack bolts are all super tight. Is it possible that it would still leak water?*

It just docent seem like it would be possible to get that much water thru the roof rack to make the interior fabric that wet.

Any advise?

Just recently my friends 97 had some water that somehow got inside, just like your description there was some water along the headliner...I was sure it was the front rail end caps allowing water in and so I looked and it was sealed up well.

Soon as he opened up the sunroof, significant amount of water was accumulated on the drain...I figured the small drain opening or the drain hose must be clogged, upon opening of the headliner, it was clearly visible that the drain hose clamp somehow came loose and got undone...must've have been happening for awhile cause the drivers side flooring was flooded!....
