Roof Rack Waterproof Storage Options

What's everyone using for boxes on top of your racks? I just installed my Gobi this weekend and am looking for a couple more boxes. I have a very nice Hardigg footlocker I was issued in the Army like the pic below, but they're like $500 for new. I'd like something similar in size, waterproof, and durable enough to handle being strapped down with a couple ratchet straps that not costing more than $100-$150/ea.

I've also seen where some folks waterproof the Rubbermaid Action Packers but I'm not sure that's the way to go.

Would love pics and links to what you guys are using.

Wow, that's salty. I approve, though.

I use a Thule box, which is probably not what the OP wants to use.
