Roof Rack

Does anyone know if the stock 2nd gen roof rack fits the 3rd gen t4rs? My 4r has the thin flat bolted down plastic strip in lieu of a roof rack (so I assume I can just bolt one on) and I found a 2nd gen at the junkyard in great shape that looks like it fits, but I can't take it off and check unless I buy it :/

I THINK they are all the same. Not 100% sure, but 99% sure.

Has anybody ever tried this? I have a 98 and I'm hoping the 93 rack fits.

I just don't want to have to buy it just to test :/
