I know that my moonroof will work with the Frontrunner full length rack which is nice, but I had also hoped that you could move the forward cross slats some to have more visibility etc, but the FAQ on their site says you cannot - bummer.
I like their rack but am really not interested in drilling my new truck (like KSO818's solution maybe) and would like to be able to remove the rack from time to time without having to leave the feet on the roof or having to go through the unbolting, waterproofing, rebolting, waterproofing each time. Anyone have a workaround that works?
Similarly, I would like to have a lightbar on the front of the rack. I saw a 4runner that had had Frontrunner install a full length rack with lightbar and the wiring was run down through the waterproofing cement between the windshield and the A pillar and looked like it was coming out! That doesn't seem like a great solution. How is it best done?
