Roof Top Tent off the back?

Does anyone have their roof top tent opening to the rear side of their 4th gen? Is it possible or would the hatch get in the way?

Does anyone have their roof top tent opening to the rear side of their 4th gen? Is it possible or would the hatch get in the way?

I have mine off the side, it's what CVT recommended, but I was told if you don't have the spoiler you can have it come off the back. Not sure how far the hatch would open though.
