How hard is it to romove and put in new studs?

You have to remove the coil/shock combo, disassemble it, hammer out the old studs and hammer in the new ones. Then reassemble. This is a good time to replace the shocks if needed.

And get good coil compressors too if you're going to DIY because cheap ones like the Harbor Freight ones I used bent and were scary. I think most shops would do it for you for probably $50-80 I'd guess.

Man I'm so happy I can just hammer them in. That's what I had planned but then started thinking what if I can't and need them pressed in....imma be screwed. I knew I could get them out somehow just thought I might screw up the new studs when putting them back in.

New lift is going in when I do this. I'm replacing most everything I can...fresh bolts, nuts, etc...

I assumed I would borrow some from advance or the like. I need to check to make sure they are available.

Where are you getting the studs from? They coming with a top plate spacer or do you plan to get them seperate else where? I ordered 881's tonight so would like to get new studs too. Don't think the 1/4" seperate spacers come with new ones like the 3/4's do. This beer makes it a bit more confusing.

I'd love to know how your install goes, assuming you rent a spring compressor. I'm going to be doing the same thing here soon. I've been debating whether or not to take it to a shop to have them reassembled.
