Viper Alarm system with Remote Start, Glass Break Sensor and Dash Cam

Purchased this viper alarm with this glass break sensor.

There was one more piece that I bought through the installer but I don't remember what it was.
Wasn't cheap though.
Remote start is fun but not terribly useful in SD.

This in conjunction with my Blackvue DR-650 Dash Cam and Power Magic Pro gives me some piece of mind when I'm driving as well as parked.
People like to play bumper cars around these parts in parking lots so now I have something that will make a TON of noise if messed with as well as capture any instances in front of the car.
I like to think that people who get outed by a car alarm will be more likely to leave a note. :AK47:
The power magic pro allows the dash cam to record while the vehicle is off but will cut the power if the battery drops too low.
This is a great dash cam that has a very convenient wifi feature.

DIY bolt-LED Light Bar

I bought these bolt LEDs and attached them to my grill via a lightweight plastic of sorts from home depot.
Have yet to install them on the truck because I'm having an issue with wiring to my DRLs and getting the correct intensity (9005s are dual intensity, and I want the high beam intensity), but I may just suck it up and deal with the lesser output for my DRLs.
UPDATE: ONE ROW TAPPED TO SWITCH WHILE OTHER ROW IS TAPPED TO LOWBEAMS. PICTURE HERE

On the other hand though, installing 2 of the 4 rows to my low beams should be super simple and look great.
These are very much a poor mans light bar and won't elicit the level of output as ready made bars, but my Morimoto HIDs and LED high beams are absolutely sufficient for my needs. These LEDs will be largely aesthetic

Infinity Reference 3002cfx Dash Speakers

Installed these 3.5" dash speakers and it really cleared the sound up. Installed them with a 300hz crossover.

With the driver's side speaker I was able to bend the original bracket to fit the speaker. There was more room in the driver side port.

The passenger's side was not as easy and required me to fabricate a little bracket. Took me maybe 15 minutes to do.

Maybe didn't need to do this but I wanted a uniform covering, and in stock form the extrusion is different from driver's side to passenger's. I also wanted to be sure it didn't contact the much larger speaker.

These, in conjunction with my 8" kicker hideaway, is about all I need. Much clearer and more accurate. Get plenty of clean treble with more crisp and definable mids. :guitar3:

RCI Metalworks Engine Skidplate

Installed an RCI engine skid and painted it white with plastidip. Another very easy install that I did myself.

Excuse my ignorance regarding stereo equipment... What is a 300hz crossover? Are these the Infinity-Reference-X-REF-3002cfx speakers that you bought?

Yes these are the infinity reference 3002cfx 3.5" speakers.

A crossover keeps the speakers from playing lower frequencies (<300hz) that it wouldn't be fit to replicate. Those lower, bassy frequencies would cause the speakers to distort which would negatively affect their clarity. The speakers have been a nice upgrade though I had my expectations higher. Worth it, though. Just might've gone cheaper.

Decided I didn't really appreciate my truck sounding like a civic so I threw in this 22" magnaflow. No highway drone at all. Definitely sounds how this vehicle should. Shorter would have been a tad annoying IMO.

I honestly don't remember but I do recall seeing somewhere that the factory privacy glass is around 28%. Not to confuse you but I've also heard there is a stock UV film that adds a small amount of tint as well (like 80%). It gives off a slight green hue.

In the end though the places I've had tint my windows have always matched it up nicely. It's not exactly the same, but its not really noticeable even for an OCD person like me.

How did you get the emblems on the wheels to be white while the rest of the wheel is black? Did you plastidip on top of plastidip?
