Rostra heated seat kit

My mom bought my wife the Rostra 250-1872 heated seat kit for christmas and I was curious if anyone else had used this kit on a 5th gen and if so where did they mount the control switch. It looks bigger than the blank switch locations and i dont want it to look bad. We have the center console without 4wd. If you have any info your help would be appresciated. Merry christmas, I want heated seats too. somebody posted a How-To on the forum. there should be two blank switches on the center console.

Yeah i saw the write up but the kit I ordered comes with a single hole dual roller switch instead of the round switches. We got it installed this morning at my buddies interior shop. It wasnt too bad of an install. Make sure you have a set of hogring pliers and hogrings though.

Good question, I was about to ask the same thing. I wonder if it can be done on cloth. Any time I see heated seats, it's always on leather. Hmmm...

there are a number of cars with cloth seats and heaters, Subaru comes to mind. It can be done.

I just had the Rostra heated seats put in with cloth seats. I used to have a car with leather seats that were heated and the feeling isn't all that different. After a few days, I'm pretty happy with the way they turned out. Plus the actual controls fit into the blanks in my center console, so it looks stock.
