Rotor balancing screws??

Hey amigos, got a pretty specific question pertaining to the brake rotors... Does anyone know if the oem rotors have two small centering screws? When I bought mine, the dealership said they did a brake job, but the car lurches to a stop, like the rotors are severly warped. I just checked the front specs, right on at 28mm, which tells me they're new. But I can't get to the back w/o taking the wheels off. The lurching, and hobble feeling i get from the back, feels exactly like my old LS felt after a brake job I did, and did not use the centering screws "just slid the rotors onto the studs". The LS hobbled, and lurched when coming to a stop.

I've attached a page from the TIS manual website, and looking closely at the rotors, it appears there are indeed two holes in the hub for those screws... They're super easy to miss, and I'm wondering if the mechanic did indeed miss them.... If, they're there to begin with..????

The threaded holes in the rotor are used for removing a stubborn rotor from the hub. You're supposed to thread a bolt into them to "press" the rotor off.

Thanks Even, you were absolutely right! And man, were they ever stubborn! Took me several shots of liquid wrench to get the rust to unbond. They were within spec, at 18mm, just warped, so had them turned, and all is well. Now I can really feel how badly the fronts are warped though...oh well, next weekend.

The rear ones do have a little play in them while on the studs, I'd say about 1 mm worth, maybe 2. After cleaning everything up, including the hub and backplate, the rotors had play. Before, and I think one of my problems, is they were seized up against the studs, which prevented them from finding their own center.

Need pads soon though...got 6mm left on the rears.
