I just did my rotors on my 95 4runner and now my calipers are so tight against them they won't turn! The drivers side is fine it's like the caliper is bent. Now I'm without my ride till I can figure it out any suggestions? My brake pads are about an 1/8" away so it's not them.

Is it your calipers or your rotors? The inner spindle nuts only needs about 15 lbs to seat the bearing, then the lock washer, then you crank the outer spindle to 80 or 90 lbs. At least it's that way on my old blazer. I would gusee they're similar....

The caliper body itself is contacting the rotor? But not the pads? I think you got the wrong rotors.
How did you get them on there, by the way, with a hammer? That should have been your first clue something was amiss...

I would verify that you in fact got the correct rotors. I'm trying to picture this in my head and it doesn't make sense other than they're wrong. That, or you didn't compress the pistons properly.
+1 on the pistons needing to be compressed... they must be compressed completly and then rotors and calipers put back on. after job is finished pump breaks several times to re adjust pistons and pads against new rotors. piston compressors are cheap, like $6 at autozone. i would deffinately invest in a set. some people use screwdrivers and prybars (which does work) but it's very easy for someone that doesnt know what they're doing to damage the pads or calipers by doing it this way.
