I'd look for something in the slotted variety since I've seen alot of cracked drilled ones over the years and they might be a bit overkill for a 4Runner.
I've gotten good mileage out of my akebono ceramic pads and the OEM rotors and no warping and yes, I do use my brakes hard on and off road.

I've got 2mm of front pad left so I'll be ordering mine in the near future. Basically whenever I get around to posting on T4R and getting everyone's opinion on my choices. Back on topic: Me personally, I probably wouldn't trust drilled rotors to the particular ones you posted. As many have said, there seems to be issues with them pretty often, and getting cheap ones (price-wise, not necessarily suggesting BI's are of "cheap" quality) only makes your chances of failure higher. You don't know what brand those are, where they were made, etc. I'm also not suggesting that just because you pay more for something means you will get more, but as the saying goes, it tends to be "you get what you pay for." If I could afford them right now, I would get those stoptech drilled and slotted rotors on wheeler's off road and tell you guys how it goes, but the sad truth is, I can't haha.
All of the same stuff I said applies to my opinion on the pads you posted as well. I'm buying the ceramic ones off of the link I posted. If you consider those though, I would like to point out that they have 1 less point on the rotor-chewing scale they have posted on that site. But for me, that's something I'm willing to test out. Eventually I'll get the SS lines, and one day, the drilled and slotted rotors. But before those things, I have to keep saving for the next set of tires

I used to be on the no drilled rotors bandwagon, but I put drilled and slotted ones on my 97 4runner and they stopped warping never had any problems. Also slotted and drilled rotors came standard on my car, and I have done quite a few track days with no problems, I have seen cracks in drilled rotors only, so perhaps the slots help in the process.
