Rotors AND Pads?

I recently purchase a 2000 SR5. The rotors are bad, however I am not going to do the switch to the Tundra assembly at this time (long story). My question is, do I need to replace the pads also? The current pads appear to be almost new with virtually no wear, so if there is no problem caused by using the same ones; I will not replace them.

No you do not need to replace the pads if they are in good shape. Most people do just because they don't cost very much while you are at it. Just replace the rotors and you should be fine.

If your not going to replace the pads, don't replace the rotors. Just get then turned.

If you put used pads on a new rotor, they they will scar up the new rotors.
