Rough Idle - Warm Start

2000 Limited Runner. Starts fine cold but if I drive for 10+ minutes and then turn off to go in a store or something, when I start back up it idles rough.

It will even out as soon as I get back on the road.

Is it misfiring (throwing any codes)? When I had a warm start rough idle it was a bad fuel injector and was throwing a P0303 code.

Here are some cheap things to try
- Spark plugs and wires, NGK/Denso only
- Clean your Mass Air Flow sensor (use a proper MAF cleaning spray)
- Clean your Throttle body and Idle Air Control Valve
- Fuel filter (often neglected)
- Check for vacuum leaks, inspect all the rubber hoses for cracks, do a smoke tests

X2 on this. I recently had a slightly rough idle and a bit of hesitation if I got on it at highway speeds. Giving the MAF sensor (really cleaning it, pulling it out of the airbox) and cleaning the throttle body smoothed it right out. Fuel filter going in this weekend for good measure :)

A couple of years ago I had a real misfire due to a cracked exhaust valve and it didn't throw codes for months. Simple stuff first, process of elimination. If you try all the above and it's still giving you trouble, only other things I'd check are ignition coils (not likely), PCV valve/hose, and then get yourself a compression test to rule that out.
