Rough Ride? (Bilstin Shocks)

I have a 1998 4Runner 4WD and my ride is pretty rough. I was looking at replacing my shocks to help improve my ride. Currently I have Tokico shocks but I was looking at replacing them with the Bilstin shocks and replacing my front and back springs with the Tundra springs to get a little lift on my Runner. What do you guys think. I'm really looking to improve my Rough ride?

Hi,

I wanted to reply to bring this back to the front of the forum because my ride is rough too. I have a 99. there has GOT to be a way that it can get better. My kids like my truck but always complain about riding in the back because of all the moving around when I hit potholes. And it doesnt help that I live in WNY and our roads are TRASH after such long winter.

Hopefully someone will help us out!

As far as a small lift, I would suggest 99 tall coils for your car. It should be just enough. As far as shocks go I would definitely recommend bilstein, ive had them on all my suv's and the suckers are almost unbeatable in terms of quality. They will most likely outlast your runner and the ride quality from the two should be fairly nice it is a 13 year old suv remember. Most likely it is only the shocks that need replacing.
