Second everything lee said.
1. Run the wire under the carpet by the gas/break pedals - it should be held in place by velcro tabs.
2. Remove the kick panels by pulling them toward the rear of the vehicle - they are held in place my metal tabs.
3. Unscrew the floor edge moulding (plastic piece running along the door edges) from the front and back door edges (something like 6 screws each side you can easily see). Pull up once the screws are out and the moulding will come up.
4. Tuck the wire behind the carpet next to the rear seatbelt. All of the panels in the back area are held in place by plastic "pop" retainers. You can pull on the edges of the panels and they will pop out so you can get behind them. Just pop them back in place when you have run the wire behind them.
5. When you get to the very rear of the vehicle, remove the floor edge moulding from the rear of the cargo area (5 screws if I remember right). Under the carpet on either side you will see plastic "plugs" - two of them look like cups that sink into the floor of the cab. You can remove these plugs by prying on the edge with a flathead screwdriver. Run your wire through the hole and reinsert the plug. Now, just zip-tie your wire along the back somehow and you have reached the tow-hitch.
By the way, this will also work when running speaker wire the cargo area, power wires for amps, power inverters, etc.
