Roxio 7 DVD copy

Problems here. Roxio 7, PX-716A, XP Pro, Mcafee, SpyBot, 320GB HD. I put in a copied movie in my DVD-Rom and a 16x in the Plextor. Hit copy, windows crashes just as 'burn' is to start. First time was at 8x, second @ 12x. Reboot and run virus-scan, still does it. any ideas??? thanks

finally got it to copy & burn with just the Plextor drive. The way it was rebooting windows, I thought it was something else. The LG DVD-Rom still plays back fine. Just curious, what straight copy programs are you using?? I have Nero 7 linked to DVD Shrink, just not used it yet for copy.
