What is the average rpm for a 4th Gen V8 at 65 mph? My 3rd Gen with V6 averaged around 1800 rpm at 65 mph, and 8000 rpm when it idles at 0 mph.:biggrin2:

About 1900 as stated before. Lower with larger tires.

I have P265 70 R17 Yokahoma Tires. Mmmm 1900 sounds about right. I'm getting about 18.3 to 20 MPG on highways now.

Ice, Is that the computer or hand Calculated? Right now I am getting a little over 16 mainly city. I am really happy with my 04 v8! I was straight highway the other day and my computer was reading almost 24mpg. I am guessing I was right around 20. That was a 50 mile highway trip. its at 18mpg now with an additional 120 miles city.

I am getting the same or better mpg than my 01 pathfinder and parents 98 t4r limited used to hand calculated!
