hey guys i went and did some playing around with the runner last weekend and was out on some trails in wanatchee when i started up this really steep hill climb and got to the top only to realize the trail dead ended and never leveled out, so i'm stuck on this semi- tight trail with a high grade, far to steep and narrow to back down and had to chop a tree to flip a u-ie, well when i managed to get sideways to the angle of the grade my tires started to spin in the rear so i thought it would be a good time to engage the diff lock to get that extra little traction and not topple the truck down the hill well when i engaged it i could tell no noticeable difference in the traction and the button just kept flashing but never went solid on, so my question is this when does what does the diff button do to let you know it's engaged, how can i check and make sure the lockers is working in my driveway? jack stands maybe? i know the previous owners didn't know what the diff lock was and were constantly driving 50-60 during the winter with it on. i'm thinking they could have screwed something up....but it seems as if the locker would win out over the gears if that was the case.....:wtf:
