RSG Angled Sliders

Some other manufacturers changed bolt on slider designs to include wrap around gussets under the frame. I guess in response to failures? Is RSG mounting strong enough? It is certainly easier to install and does not lower gas tank skid.

Sorry, i did not notice that i left out the do (not) use the roof rack. I am still very happy with mine, but they are a little harder to get up on than the flat. I like how they look tighter to the vehicle also.

Which one are you saying looks tighter? I was trying to figure out if the angled or flat were closer than the other or if the are both the same right underneath the edge of the vehicle. They appear to both be the the same when looking at them uninstalled.

Hmm, their site displays "No products available" for every section I check. Did they go out of business or technical glitch?

How well do the angled sliders work as steps? I have these on my list of future purchases, but can't tell if the angle would take away from the ability for short people to get in and out. I know they have a flat option too, but it sticks out a bit too far for my liking.
I have the angled RSG's they work fine as a step, but I think the flat ones would work better as a step.
