Rubbing...again :redbrick:

So I'm running the toytec spacer lift in the front, I've put on about 4,000 miles with it on. I'm running 285/75's and did some minor trimming but recently it started rubbing but it wasn't the same as it used to be so I got my happy ass under there and figured out that I'm rubbing the coil and UCA...I'm planning on getting 1.5" body lift will this help? I guess what I'm asking is if theres something else I should spend my money on that will help this?

The UCA and coils are not connected to the body, the body lift won't do anything but give you more clearance with your fenderwells and stuffing the tire up there. How did it just start rubbing on the UCA? It would have been rubbing the UCA the second you mounted the tires up.

Like FR4R said, you need to buy some wheel spacers or new wheels with less backspacing.

Look into the spidertrax 1.25 spacers: Spidertrax wheel spacers - Toytec Lifts: Toyota Lift Kits: FJ Cruiser Lift Kits, Tacoma Lift Kits, Tundra Lift Kits, 4 Runner Lift Kits, Sequoia Lift Kits, Toyota Truck Lift Kits

Or the Addicted Offroad spacers: Toyota Aluminum Wheel Spacers [TG (Toy Wheel Spacers)] - $88.36 : Addicted Offroad is a full service Parts, Sales, and Fabrication company offering offroad parts for all makes and models, Addicted Offroad

For wheels, you're gonna want to look at getting some with 4" or less backspacing.

Hate to state the obvious here. But have you checked your tire pressure? If they weren't rubbing before, they shouldn't be rubbing now.

I had to go with the Spidertrax, still gotem! Look for a pair that's "damaged" got mine for cheap because of some paint scuffs. Been running them to hell and back for over 2yrs
