Rubbing front fender with 2012 wheels

Just purchased new tires (265/70/17) for my 2006 4Runner running 2012 SR5 wheels. I've got 5100s on 3rd setting and Spidertrax spacers. Well now it's rubbing bad. It didn't rub with the factory 6 spokes, but I guess the offset is a lot different. Any suggestions (besides the usual "moar lift".

if you look at the bottom it shows how to trim the bumper

Tires are larger(~1'') than factory size, and you've increased the scrub radius by adding more aggressive wheels as well as wheel spacers.

Time to lift or trim.

lifted or not with larger tires and spidertrax you will rub on stock bumper

Lifted with wheel spacers and not even on larger than stock tires yet and I rubbed. Trim away until the noise stops.

This setup (265/70/17 on 5100's, stockish rims) may fit (no rubbing) without the spacers right?

Would it fit without the lift?

It may have been posted already. Search J.A. user name. He has quite the write up. My only suggestion in this project is using masking tape to define the line you want to cut. Stand back and look at the proposed cut line and change as needed. You may have to re cut since we are cutting less not more. As a side note: your driver side may not be the same as your passenger, so don't bother making critical measurements side to side.

when i did mine i used the sanding wheel to smooth out the angles so it looks stock. also helps get nice lines in the cut. the sanding wheel just melts away the bumper

I done the same, was just afraid I'd start removing too much material. It was sharper than that, but I smoothed it out. I just had to remove quite a bit there
