Wheel and Tire updates to the 4R

Couple of updates to the 4Runner...

Changed to TRD Pro Replica Wheels and fresh Duratrac tires. Disabled the TPMS system rather than keep or replace the sensors. Did a minor amount more pro-active trimming to the bumper and fender liners due to slightly wider track width even after removing my 1-1/4" wheel spacers. Had no issues running the wheel spacers for 15 years, lug nuts were still torqued down to spec.

I have not seen anyone running this version of the Replicas. Offset and Width is PERFECT. Matte Gray (more of a Satin finish) Color is just what i was looking for as it matches the factory Sport Edition tubular roof rack and tubular side steps with graphite-painted finish.

WOW! Thanks for all you do with the 4R community. Your 4R still looks good after all these years, I’m not surprised but you do a helluva job. I’m still rocking the original sport wheels on my 2005 which I’ve had for 19 years. Updating the wheels/tires for our 20 year anniversary is on top of the list which I plan to do in 2025 Along with doing away with HID retrofit and going with LED retrofit.
