you may recall my neighbor blocking my garage and the "discussion". I since changed garages and yesterday a nice young man was blocking my garage (apt complex with many garages on either side of a lane) and when he arrived he said that it "was broken down". I said "in front of my garage?" He said that classic California "whatever dude". I am afraid to tell you guys and gals that it was on. phrases like "take that piece of sht busted ass vehicle out of my way and be thankful I don't roll over it". My fave was however, "here in America we say we are sorry, it solves alot of problems". Non taken with my motives and approach he continued to rile on about his day and why his problems were important........... do people have this me attitude all over........??

Anyway he physically pushed his car out of the way and I called the CHP to ticket him.......driving off he said "have a nice day" and yes, you know exactly how I responded......LOL

I know exactly where you are coming from so its hard for me to disagree with the way you handled that since I would have been the same way. I live in a Apartment style condo complex and my apartment was only assigned one parking stall but since I have a room mate and he gets the parking space I've had to rent an above ground parking stall and people always just pull in there and park in my spot whenever they feel like it and since im renting it from someone I cant even call the parking authority and have them ticketed and towed. I hate living in a Condo, I'll never do it again.

Anyways, did the guy block you out of your garage for a long time or did he move it out of your way right away?

Had a similar problem, as I live in a Townhouse (complex). My neighbor tutors students (haven't figured out how since she is slightly schizophrenic and has OCD) and one day one of the kids decided to park in front of our garage. We were trying to go out of town for the day for a holiday, but took 3 hours before the kid came out. By then he had a hefty parking ticket for blocking our garage, as well as parking in a "fire lane." He must have beat the tow truck by about 5 minutes, DAMN! I was really hoping to watch it get towed.

Btw, this was before I had my 4runner, so we were waiting for the vehicle in the garage, otherwise I would have just driven myself.

Ahh I remember those days for some reason the neighborhood I lived in was always the one to go to for halloween. I literally mean people from all over the valley would show up. Which was not really an issue except for when they parked in front of my house and locked the doors and wandered down the street. Such occassion occurred more then one halloween for me.

My first experience was back in 99 I had an 85 pickup and well we lived on the corner lot. I had parked on the side of the house and a few cars had parked behind me which was no problem I could pull forward and leave if needed. But then I managed to get some prick with his kids backed his car right up to my front bumper. I was in the garage passing out candy to kids and stopped to ask the guy to move he said he wouldn't be long. I warned him to move his car or he would find it relocated. He laughed and walked away.

Now mind you most people would read the sticker on my front bumper that said student driver written upside down and would think twice...I also did NOT have PS in this truck and had literally inches between my front bumper and his trunk. I could have just pulled my drop hitch and backed up since my rear bumper would literally pass almost 8 inches over the hood of a car.

I said f**k it. Got in my truck locked in up in 4lo and proceeded to push his car into the street. My truck was fairly high up so my bumper rested right against the top of his trunklid and well created an entirely new crumple zone. I of course left for a short while to visit a few buddies down the road. I came back and suprise the car was gone... I think he got a trick he didn't expect.

Like I said my neighborhood was the place to visit on halloween. We would litterally get 1k plus kids a night.. And go through 20 lbs or more of candy. I don't remember where I had gone to but this was the following year. And as I pulled up this fat b** pulls up and parks directly infront of the house. we had moved the other vehicles from the driveway for kids to walk up and basically the entire side of the house was filled. I at the time owned 3 trucks my 85 toy pickup, 87 pathfinder, and my recently aquired 88 4runner... oh and my dads 84 toy pickup as well lol...

Again same routine I asked her to move her car saying I lived there she said yea well my friends live here too and locked the car and started walking up the driveway my dad asked her to move the car she said what for she got here first. She then started walking down the street I once again warned her to move it before it got relocated.
She of course did not take me seriously this time I pulled in front of her car pulled out the tow strap hooked it up and started dragging the car into the middle of the street. Apparently the screeching of the tires got her attention as she came running back to the car. I had it in the middle of the street when she got to me I undid my strap pulled into the front of my house where she started yelling and screaming at me about damaging her car and she was going to call the police.
I made the comment I hope you don't have any warrents for they will check your information as well and you will go to jail. She literally shut her mouth got in her car and drove it about 10 houses down and parked

Apparently word got out don't park in front or on the side of our house after that. because I never had another issue with total strangers on halloween again. And yes we lived there for about 4 more years and halloween was always the same with kid traffic.

Now days I just point to the winch if someone blocks me in and state either you move it or I will assist you. I am sure the lime green paint helps them with my perception of stability..

Cliff notes:::

BUY A WINCH.... And a Bumper you can repaint scuff marks off of..

:lmao: Great stories. And how old were you when you did all of this?

hahahha that actually made my day. something similar happened at my school parking lot (which is very big) one third is reserved for drifting, and other stunting, one third for big trucks, and the other third for cars. well this gghetto mini van driven by the biggest prick in school, pulled and parked right smack dab in the middle of the drifing course, so much that nobody could do anything, as he was occupying all lanes and it was impossible to go around him. a friend and i were eating and chilling with our girlfriends (now ex's) in his lifted 2004 chevy 2500 duramax, and saw this, we walked up and politlety asked if he could move his POS van. he then told us to f**K ourselves, and we said please move or we will assist you. he proceded to insult my buddies girl, and spit at our feet, and run off. well steaming mad, my buddy threw it in four low, broked all 4 tires loose (he had lockers) while driving to the POS van. i asked if i sould get the tow strap out, and he told me, that f**k that, hes pushing it. we came from behind it, slammed into the back of it (crinkling the hatch) and pushed it clear 150 feet until we ran it up the curb and grassy hill on the other side of the parking lot. needless to say, he parked in the teacher parking lot from then on, even efter tickets from the cops!!

Here is proof of the student driver sticker...

I swore I would roll it one day... Just wasn't planning it to be that day or location...

In all it is no more. I am currently running the tires on the 4runner and the motor block since it was rebuilt other then that I have misc parts sitting in storage....

Obex, those stories are great. Now that I think back to the few times I was blocked out of my parking spot I wish I had the room and the tow straps to pull those A-holes out of my parking spot.

Im not sure though, how easy would it be to pull out a yukon?
Im not sure if my 3.0 could have handled that.

The guy in the Yukon was a jack a$$ though, he parked in my spot knowingly because when he left, he took the note I left on his truck and went and put it on my truck that was in visitor parking. If I find him there again, I'll by hooking a tow strap to something on his truck and removing it for him.

Funny you mention Yukons.. We had an event at the sand dunes back in Vegas couple years ago for big brothers big sisters took them out 4wheeling.

Guy in a 2 door Yukon got stuck in the sand right at the crest of the dune trying to git to the top. So me and a buddy in his YJ figured combined we should be able to pull him up the rest of the way and out of the sand. The jeep was facing me and strapped to the guy from his winch and I was strapped facing the YJ. Well Both of them were in Neutral and I was pulling from reverse.

Well I thought they had both said they were ready and a tugging I went. Apparently they were not ready but I had already pulled them both to flat ground. Granted the YJ was not stuck but it was dead rolling weight.

Well as we all got out they both at the same time said that they didn't even have a chance to go forward before I had already started pulling. I thought they were kidding me but it was obvious they were serious since they both asked at the same time. So apparently I drug them both out in reverse and I just have a 22re. I was also in 4lo. So I think you should not have too much of an issue dragging it around.....

Now I have pulled by strap double axle dump trucks a couple hundred feet on a few occasions. Simple to get them out of the way of traffic. Remember if a Human being can pull a Bus why cant a toyota. Granted no speed records will be set but it will move it.

its funny how people act in different areas, i just got back from NYC and being from Montana where most everyone says thank you, yes ma'am, and has respect, i thought the people of New York were A$$holes, especially on the road.

High School stories, oh man. heres my most recent one, since im still in high school, in spring the freshman start to get their drivers licenses, creating less room for everyone else. well this royal prick decided to block my buddies blazer in by parking 2inches away from the drivers door in his pile of crap Ford Escort wagon.
we had just gotten back from lunch and my spot was gone so i parked over by the blazer where we noticed the ford, so we went over to the car, checked to see if the doors were unlocked, Nope. so i checked the rear hatch, and what do ya know, it was open, i crawled up in the car, dropped the parking brake and put it in neutral. we pushed the car across a baseball field and up against a fence.
We were 30 minutes late for class but it was worth it.
