Ruger 10/22 or what?

After shooting with my Beretta 92F I decided I want to go back to my roots (pellet rifle) and get myself a rifle for the range only. So after some research, and great suggestions from many, I decided on a Ruger 10/22. Does anybody see any reason not to go with that? If yes, what do you have to suggest?

I know they are reliable, adaptable and accurate with customization. They have some pretty nice models beyond their "basic" one as well. For range shooting I'm sure you'd like it. I have a Weatherby .22 auto and love it and have used my dad's Browning .22 auto and think it is an excellent, lightweight, accurate field gun--but not a range gun.

YOu just cannot go wrong with that.

The Ruger 10/22 is one of the great designs of all time. Extremely reliable and durable; easy to service and can be pimped out. Bull barrels are available, match stocks, scopes, magazines etc. You can't find a better little .22 shooter.

I used to work in the gun business and in a shooting range and the 10/22 is one heck of a great rifle.
