rumbles@1200 rpm

Hi there !
I was hoping someone could help me figure this out. My '03 2wd V8 sport has 120k miles. Driving at 25mph she begins to rumble as the grade increases uphill. This also happens around 40mph. Each time it is when the rpm's are 1200. Thanks for any help! I hope to hear from you

IMO, it could be anything. When was the last time it went thru maintenance? And what did they do other than regular oil change? I assume (and this is just me) you might need to change your spark plugs and have a tune-up.

If it's only at a specific rpm range, it may be that something loose may be reasonating (like something in the exhaust), or a bad u-joint, or bearing etc. somewhere in the driveline.
Are there any vibrations that go with it?

rumbling

I have been religious with oil changes using mobile 1 synthetic 5/30. Belts and tune up were all done at 74k miles. I was told the spark plugs are titanium and hadn't needed to be changed. Also told 4runners don't need valves adjusted... I have an appt. this Tuesday to have things checked out. Hoping someone could give me an idea if it is the torque converter or how much $$$ to expect. Thanks for your time
