Running board end cap removal? Painting rubber trim..

Need to remove end caps, the rubber trim on running board has misc. junk/leaves/ etc.. underneath and I would also like to paint the rubber trim Any tips on this stuff. I can't find any fasteners for just the end caps that are circled in the attached pics.

There should just be some 10mm screws in the wheel well, and then the brackets under the running boards for full removal. Check this link out, should help you... just ignore the mud flap install.
