I have a '96 SR5 with the black matte wheel lip mouldings (think that's what Toyota calls them) and running boards. I want to get rid of the running boards but don't like the way the rear mouldings hang down in front of the rear tires. Does anybody know if they make different rear mouldings for use without running boards? Any suggestions and pictures would be greatly appreciated.

Yes, they are call "end caps" and they make them for molding with running boards and for molding without running boards. They do give it the finished look you are talking about.
When I bought my running boards, I had to buy end caps and I had to specify if I had molding or not.

Rear mouldings
Are you talking about the rear mouldings what hang down in front of the REAR tires or are you referring to the front wheel moulding "splash guards"? I have a problem with how low the plastic surrounding the rear wheel well hangs down. I was wondering if anybody knew of any good replacement rear moulding that does not hang down as far, or if Toyota has an oem moulding that is different than mine.

You either need to get the fender flares made that don't have running boards or you have to cut the existing flares. I just replaced my running boards w/ nerf bars and had to trim my fender flares for the nerf bars to fit. I know exactly what you're talking about and it does look weird once you take off the running baords and end caps.
